The main objective of this effort was to bring together our expertise in Learning Sciences and HCI research in order to explore and identify how social software and mobile technologies are nowadays shaping and creating innovative ways to share and construct information and knowledge in both, formal and informal educational settings.
We aimed at developing methods and tools to understand this new phenomena, create innovative models and testbeds for experiencing future ways of learning, as well as to share our expertise and disseminate the results of our efforts with the Scandinavian Education community (including urban, remote and rural areas)
